I'm over one of my favorite geologies: the sandhills of Nebraska. They're immense, covering most of the state. They suck for farming, so they're kind of unspoiled.
See the big dark polygons on this map here? Turbulence. (Well, convection. Has that effect sometimes.) Just flew north around the one over Iowa. Just turned left, vectored straight for Los Angeles, where United says we'll be in 3 hours.
