I was checking out the latest on what I thought was the Kickass torrents site, and noticed all the torrent links were gone. Apparently you need to register in order to access the torrents.

Let's see what you get if you click on the Sign Up link. It takes you to a site called Mediablk, which appears to be a scammer site.

I got in touch with the TorrentFreak guys to see if they knew anything about this, and they pointed me to a piece where they talk about the scammers taking over.

No comments on who's to blame for what, but if you're tempted to sign up for Mediablk or something like it, be sure you know what you're getting into. Doesn't look like a good deal.
